This magnificent peacock trinket box is really eye catching with its bright colors. Each feather on this bird was individually hand-painted with a thick enamel-like paint in the traditional Faberge style, and decorated with gold plated-trim. This trinket box is cast from pewter which gives it some heavy weight so that it will not tip over. This peacock jeweled box opens easily, and closes firmly due to a magnetic clasp. Great as a gift!
