Each thimble is carved out of solid piece of wood and hand-painted with Russian miniature painting techniques, as it is done on Russian lacquer boxes. Every brush stroke is very detailed. There is some Russian writing on the rim of the thimble. Male cat, dressed in red robe, is playing Cello, and a lady cat in yellow dress is playing Harp. Very collectible!
