This lacquer box was hand-made by Russian artists extraclusively for The Russian Store (you will not find this anywhere else). Its extraterior is covered with several layers of fine lacquer. The top of the box displays an exquisite, detailed, painting of a red Cardinal, which is one of the most recognizable and popular backyard birds because of its brilliant red color and crested head. Go Cardinals! Because each red cardinal box was crafted by hand (by a few different Russian craftsmen), no two are exactly alike.
