Each thimble is carved out of solid piece of wood and hand-painted with Russian miniature painting techniques, as it is done on Russian lacquer boxes. Every brush stroke is very detailed. On the rim of the thimble there is a name of the tale "Little Red Riding Hood" written in Russian: "Красная Шапочка". Very collectible thimble.
